randomhomegames.com (“randomhomegames,” “we,” “us”) is a free, zero-friction party-game launcher. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Playing without an account

You can use randomhomegames in pass-and-play mode without signing in or giving us any personal information. Game prompts are served to your device and your answers stay on the devices in the room.

Information we collect

• Account information (optional). If you choose to sign in to save scores or host phone rooms, we collect your email address, and — if you use Sign in with Google — your name and profile picture from your Google account.
• Gameplay data. When signed in, we store the rooms you host and your leaderboard scores so they persist across parties.
• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate, anonymized usage (pages viewed, general device/browser type). This helps us improve the games.

How we use your information

• To create and maintain your optional account.
• To save your scores, leaderboards, and hosted rooms.
• To send you a magic sign-in link by email when you request one.
• To measure and improve the service in aggregate.

Google user data & Limited Use

When you sign in with Google, we request only your basic profile (name, profile picture) and email address. We use this data solely to create your account and identify you within the app. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it except with the service providers below who process it on our behalf.

Service providers

• Supabase — authentication, database, and storage of account and gameplay data.
• Resend — delivery of sign-in (magic-link) emails.
• Google Analytics — aggregate usage measurement.
• Vercel — hosting of the website.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data until you ask us to delete it. To delete your account and associated data, email hello@randomhomegames.com from your account email address and we will remove it.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in and to run analytics. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

Children

randomhomegames is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
